I want to add some bars, yes i have a Sun roof but if you have to take your Truck interior apart then maybe its just as easy to spend the extra and get some bolt on's
Not just the rear end, the whole blinkin lot from sunvisor to the rear window has to come off.
As Apache said, its not hard just fiddly.........

Don't forget to tell everyone its indestructable as seen on top gear.......

The roof lining is a pre-formed shape, so it comes down as one stiff piece of card. Just drop the rear seats down, tilt the fronts forward and lay the lining down until you're ready to lift it back up.

The large photos are uploaded from hosting sites such as Photobucket.

                  Nice bar-b-que.

I think those I fitted for Mav where Astra ones, recently fitted some Volvo ones (see the roof tent thread) that fitted really well. We did find on non-sunrof trucks the roof needs some serious re-enforcing for the front feet, not just big washers underneath, the foot pushed down quite a way with a persons weight on the front foot of the bar and had to be pushed back up from underneath.

The roof by sunroof opening is much stronger than the flat roof, even with the bar as close to the swage line on roof as poss.

I'm going to try to fitting some off a Subaru Legacy to our truck soon.

Saw some bars on a Saab estate the other day, looked very similar to the Peugeot/Escort bars.
Mine have been on for seven years now!!

They have taken some abuse since fitting. Alot of the build materials for the lounge went on them, to the point that one load of timber actually bowed the roof bars. The rails however have stayed rock solid.
