Paul B put his 3rd gen up for grabs in the for sale section yesterday and it's gone already! Which lucky sod from here bought it then?

Okay, now I know who bought it. And who's just added around £1,200 to the resale price.
Bad crack when members can't buy other members trucks at a fair price without dealers trawling the forum and snapping them up.
Yes, it is sour grapes!'Tis better to sting than to be stung!

Not sure what the issue is. If you want it, buy it. Don't hang around cos good trucks sell fast, and you cant really expect the seller to wait around to sell it to a member rather than a dealer. I wouldn't.
Me and the missus ran a business which was effectively resale too. We bought footwear for somewhere between £5 and £10 a pair, and sold for anywhere between £20 and £100 a pair. Thats the way businesses work.

I don't begrudge the guy making a living Andy, my point is I don't even think the guy makes a contribution on here. He just seems to trawl the for sale section, make a dash for the good buys and true members don't get a chance.
Hopefully I have an edge now as I have readies to hand. I just wish sellers would check the Wanted section first.
Plus I'm a miserable, selfish, sod who wants all the good toys for himself!
Season of goodwill my ar$e! Where's my 3rd gen?'Tis better to sting than to be stung!

I've bought stuff 'Buy it Now' from eBay before which has been silly low price. Taken some decent photos, written a decent add and sold it on for 500%+ profit. I personally dont see anything wrong with that. A while back I bought a comms radio for £5 - mainly cos I knew what it was, despite a crappy photo and a one line description. I used it for 6 months, then sold it on for £90 after cleaning it up, taking some decent pics and writing a proper description.
I can understand how frustrating it can be when you're waiting for cash though!Cutting steps in the roof of the world
