Surfs - common as muck?

Ebay and surfs seem to be magnetically drawn in my circles....

Bought some mitsi wheels and tyres from a bloke in Northampton. Turned out he had a v nice lifted surf that they were off....
Nearly bought a trailer the other day from Malvern, his other items were loads of Surf parts.....
Bought a trailer today in Caerleon, the bloke next door to the buyer had 2! a 1st gen in green and a black 2nd gen. both looked standard. Anyone on here??

Only seem common when you own one, it's happened with lots of other cars I've owned, you never see a Pink Reliant Robin, you buy one and suddenly Sainsbury's carpark is rammed with them, even the invalid spaces!

agree with that, but its not just you, my dad phoned me up and said, since you've had that truck I'm spotting them everywhere (by them i think he just meant 4x4's) there's hundreds of them everywhere

I've noticed a few more, but not many more round this way
