i tell what i knew as soon as i pulled the lorry into the start position that i was gonna have trouble and there was no way out of it.
I had to park the lorry front between 2 cones but keep it tight to the left in order to be able to put on full lock and reverse between 2 cones without going out side the lines. If you don't park right to start with you are buggared and thats what happened to me.What made it worse is that i forgot i was allowed to shunt the lorry back and forth twice to allow to line up right in order to do the manouver properly

Gutted for you rich but as with everything if you fail it can only make you better and the next time you take the test you will be a lot calmer and better prepared i know i failed my driving test first time passed on the second and i failed my bike test twice and passed on the third but i have had 17yrs with no accidents until my first last year (not my fault) and i know a lot of people that passed first time and had the first accident within twelve months sort of says something i'm just not sure what lol

is that the snake reverse into a parking bay? where you start off, reverse back around a cone and back into a parking bay.

thats the one.But i never got close enough to the n/s front cone to allow for the steering to go on full lock to enable the lorry to miss the rear n/s cone.I had been doing it perfect the rest of the week in dry weather and today it was raining which isn't an excuse really

i was lucky enough to have the army train me so we had ample time to do it, near the end of the training i was racing my instructor at it, bets being a brew and bacon sandwich, i was always a few seconds out.

you will be fine next time. do you have another date booked in?
