Number plate regs nearly lost Lucifer

I had this plate on the front of the 'Batmobile' for two years, passed two MOTs like it and never got pulled.

I buy my plates from them, they're very good quality, are kite marked and if you order before 1pm they arrive the next morning!
You can even order two rear or two front plates, with different numbers if you wish.

unlucky rich ,maybe the coppers where catholics and the doghnut shop was closed earlier that day.lol.cant see why you cant have lucifer on the side thats just daft.i was once pulled and hassled about a beavis and but head rear window sticker that showed beavis playing air guitar and head banging.i was told that i could be done for a public order offence because it could have been construed as beavis pointing his middle finger at the car behind and giving it the birdie.i was made to remove it by the officer before i drove off.what a c#ck knocker.

Do they not ask for your V5 or other proof? I dont see how they can if they offer same day postage. A proper number plate supplier is supposed to, otherwise all they can supply is "show plates". If you go to any "high street" plate maker, they will want your V5 plus some other proof of who you are and the plates will be made to comply with all of the current regs.

if not do nothing with out a traffic cop say so

go down to the station and see a proper copper that deals with traffic law
they waisted your time now you need there time to make sure this will not happen again

i would want a full print out from them about what is ilegal on my car so it can be rectifed
coz them coppers that pulled you should have given you a list

I don't want to cause any hassle \George as they will pull me in and take the truck.This is why i am doing as they say and get the 3 things done.I can't afford to lose Lucifer.The things are easy to sort out so its not a problem.I was mainly p155ed off about the plastic effect barb wire around the rear number plate which is actually stuck to the number plate but to the tailgate.At the end of the day i will get it sorted then they will be happy

the barbed wire did nothing to odscure the view of the numbers
but it is ilegal to put anything around the number plate
cast of shadows when the reg light is on

artchs need to cover the tyres
having my own reg plates on every car i have all my familys cars have ower own reg plates on them
its got ower name and address but we dont make them
lesure ways makes them for us
they do put there name on them but we have ower own backing plates with ower names on them
i cant see how displaying a name of were the plates are made makes any difference myself

They do comply with the current regulations, spacing, letter size, BS number etc.

I pootled about on my home made plates, got looked at by plod a few times - only to admire the car - and never had any issues. Who knows what goes on in those tiny minds eh?



Batmobile my arse!

A mate's 6 year old son christened mine "The Batmobile" and it just kinda stuck. It was a (black) ST202 so not quite as nice as this one. I even ended up with a huge furry bat on the parcel shelf someone bought me after a trip to the zoo sometime!
