Number plate regs nearly lost Lucifer

Like i said to the coppers.As i am wanting to be hiring the truck out after xmas i want it to be right.The last thing i want and thats to have paying people in the truck and then being pulled over in it.I would sooner put things right now rather than later.It was with this attitude that the police just said get the truck off the road and sort it out.I don't think they wanted to give tickets out due to the fact that i was polite and cooperated with them.The 2 officers that actually pulled me were the ones that let me go.The 2 officers that were called out who were up on the regs wanted me done for it,but they left it down to the 1st 2 officers.I was given 1 hour to get Lucifer off the road.
I can't afford to have the truck off the road as i am doing a free charity show in January

TBH, its really not a big a deal to fix it is it, there is nothing you can't deal with in short order.

I'd just get it done, and carry on with your big plans.

If they've not ticketed you, you under no time limit.

I got time to sort it out plus it gives me the chance now to sort a few other things out aswell.Once i get back next week i will be starting on it and hopefully have some new arch ext's sorted aswell for it

id say the plate looks a little naughty on the rear..

i'd sort the plate and then get show plate that just say lucifer and remove before joining the public highway

exhausts, just quiten them down

as to arches, i'd consider getting another opinion

to be frank, i reckon they were putting the scares on you to get it off the road - they should have given a producer to get it rectified in so many days before they can tow away..

there are a lot more cars more dangerous on the roads

its not much to sort out tbh and it will all be sorted within 2 weeks once i get home next weekend.I may see if i can find a silencer with 2 inlets and 2 outlets on it due to the fact that both pipes are so close together

If you decide one would be OK - I'll pop over to the yard where I work for the welder, next door is a rangerover specialist and there are tonnes of bits there I'll ask how much - send me a pic of what you actually want - wow! - the worlds all wrong if I'm supplying you parts!

Why the hell ain't plod got something better to do with tax payers money.
I looked into exhaust noise before getting my mufflers for LEXSURF III,and it's well loud, law is they can't do you for loud exhaust but can do you for breach of the peace(same thing I guess), though how that works when they pull you out on the open road? if your laying down black lines in Tesco car park at about 2am you could understand them. Lets have some proper police work being done with our dosh and not this playground bullying,I can't nick the big boys so I'l nick the small ones attitude. Have we lost our way in this country or what
