Yeh, cause those rubber grommits are expensive!

I was thinking that, but without wanting to plant the seed of an idea... I was hoping for someone who had cured it.

Was like that on my 2.4, I wedged a bit of paper in there. Probably caused by the same thing, just a little more pronounced on the 3.0. I'd like to find the problem and fix it this time rather than treat a symptom, thanks for the idea though.

I did it again, not used to quick replies on here.

I'll have a poke around see what I can see, thanks.

I edited as you were posting, sorry.

Is the button an easy fix or the vibration?

Thanks, that's a bit of a bugger then.

It was tolerable on the 2.4, I've had it over five years and it hasn't got any worse, but it's more noticeable on the 3.0.

It's not too bad it goes as soon as the revs rise or if I rest my hand on the lever, but it is annoying. If no one has a cure I might remove the gaiter and try wrapping some pipe insulation round the lever see if it has any effect.

Yeah does on the 2.4, but the button is ok on the 3.0 it's the whole lever.

    Hi/Lo lever vibrations?

    Hi guys,

I've got some vibrations coming up the Hi/Lo lever on my 3.0 at idle. It's a '95 KZN130, my 2.4 does it too, both auto's.

Is there a common cause of this? If not any idea where to check first.

    Thanks,

    Dodge
Working...
