Hi Lo Selector Gaiter

How do you remove the leather gaiter around the selector without damaging it? I need to remove the centre console to file a little off the transmission tunnel.

i replied in your for sale thread Jim bit frogt to say that theres a screw on the side of the hi/lo lever then once the plastic panel is removed you can get the gaitor off
