  • How cool is this....

I have a 02' Subaru Legacy, just found out I can programme a 'pin number' on the drivers door handle for keyless entry.

apparently the right code of lifts of door handle, pause for a beep, x4 times unlock the car.

I'm off to go set it up, I'm always locking keys in the car, and this will great for going to the beach or watersports etc..and don't want to lose keys

(whats the chances this goes spectacularlly wrong I can never get in again...)

There's a keypad on the door handle?

    On the outside?

What do you punch in, **3526 lostmykeyagain**?

lol, nah, you lift the handle, like a safe combo..

3 lifts, pause, 2 lifts, pause, 4 lifts, etc... if code was 324

Don't use the code 999 then, especially if it's raining!

That is a seriously good idea. Except I can see the probability of it going wrong and leaving you stranded on the beach is approximately 1.

That is cool. Nothing worse than having a day out with no pockets and a bunch of ###### keys in your mitts.

Tony, do you sell 2" Bodylift kits with the bumper/rad brackets for the 2nd Gen Surf?

                          LOL. Was that at me?

I have been meaning to ask Tony that for a while now and it just popped into my head.

Also i've just come home from a few hours of walking and one thing i hate is having to carry keys about with me. I might get one of these Scooby handles from the breakers and fit it to my front door.
