Um, well I just ignored him. He sent me a text a couple of days later that said "car now sold to non-timewaster with more than half a brain". I find that unlikely (the brain bit), but if he had any sense at all he would have topped up the coolant, put the wing mirror on and kept them away from the tyres....

after reading this i have to admit being one of those ebayers that nearly always describe the vehicle as being worse than it actually is then at least when either the winning bidder or prospective buyers turn up to view/pickup they are always happy with what they are buying/viewing so i'm not wasting anybodies time especially my own and then having to think of excuses as to why numerous things weren't mentioned in the listing that have been spotted and fall short of being "in good condition" TBH if i'm selling a vehicle it's pretty much guaranteed that if someone knows me and the way i am plus the vehicle is one they are looking for then invariably they will buy mine as they know that when i buy a vehicle i go all out to sort any problems out and if it's repairable then its repaired or if not replaced with new because i can't abide putting up with a fault or noise that really shouldn't be there and yes i've lost money on vehicles as it's cost more to put right (to my own standard) than the vehicle worth sometimes but these type are few and far between probably had two in the last ten years but i'm still enjoying my surf "could do with more grunt" keeps popping into my head but funds won't allow anything too drastic like a v8 conversion although (wait for it i feel a rollicking coming on) i am thinking of dropping the 2.5 disco engine in the surf as they are plentiful down here but it's just an idea i would prefer to drop the kzn130 lump in but they are still ###### expensive as yet (for my pocket at the mo)

read this guys advert and he must be off his rocker!!

just because he bought the surf 6 months ago and didnt bother to check what condition it is in...and ended up with a right turkey, he thinks he can now salvage what he spent on it!?

who emailed him telling him the errors of his ways? id like to know if they got a reply.

''no lookers or tyre kickers''... well after his explanation of the truck i would want a ###### test drive!
