It was going to run out before the hill
On the straight bit just before the hill it started losing power, not even enough revs for the turbo to spool up, the hill just killed it off
My brakes dont work, so i made the horn louder.

I didn't even know there was a light, so the other day when I was feeling brave, and even though the needle was beyond the empty line, I started out on a 15 mile drive to a cheaper-but-further-away petrol station.
Light came on 5 miles in, reached station and got exactly £70 in. That was about 58 litres...
At least I know its got a light that works and I can drive softly for a few miles after it comes on. Not in the habit of doing this though due to "sucking up all the cr@p" in the bottom of the tank (if this really does happen.....)
