Currently in Scotland for work. Here for a couple days. Trying some Scottish Ales right now. Forgot how much of a contrast people / manners / etc are up here.

The drive was err fun. Not exactly sure where I am, Spittal Street.... and no parking for anything taller than me and i'm a troll.

If you come out of Waverley Station and go up the road towards the castle you'll find the Malt Shovel somewhere on the left - you get a really excellent pint in there !

Spittal Street ! Thats near what we locals call the 'hairy triangle' you should get a good pint in the Blue Blazer at the top of Spittal Street or take a walk into the Grassmarket you will get a good pint there, but dear.
