          No!

Apache paid just over 2k, same reg. for the far superior 2.7 with less miles than that.

You're not looking hard enough Jim.

Thanks Vince, you're the voice of reason I needed. I really do like the look of this but the high mileage (in my opinion) doesn't warrant the price tag (still a lovely motor though)!

              1. It does look nice.
              2. Why is the reg. number hidden?
              3. Why no landline number?
              4. How do you know what the milage is?
              5. Offer £3500.

                I paid £4500 for my 1999 3rd gen Jim so i wouldn't pay 4k for a 1996 one

Its always the case jim, when your not looking you find bargains but when your looking they all seem too expensive or not quite right.

It looks the dogs, but the high miles always put me off
                      In a word "NO"

At that mileage I'd want at least a Grand off the price

I don't know he doesn't do it with the other ones he sells.

This is the same guy that Apache bought his 3rd gen from, he's had a few favourable reports.

The mileage is not really that high,in my opinion and to be honest I cant put a huge amount of faith in mileages from imports. I,m sure theres a bit of clocking goes on: its a bit of a lottery. Having said that its a bit on the pricey side. If it had the intercooler, just maybe it could be worth close to that, but as it stands, ( and assuming its a nice well maintained one) £3500 would be more realistic, again thats only my opinion.
I see its only been in the country since 2006, thats a plus, and it does look nice in the pics. If I was looking, that would tempt me and just maybe I would even go a wee bit higher than £3500.

Apache haggled himself £600 off. Bear that in mind. I wouldn't worry about the mileage either, as long as it's been properly looked after.

I'd say it's worth three-five, if it's really as described.

I couldn't live with that wonky Toyota logo on the rear wheel cover, though.
