My center box had a split in it and have seen from sites that it is restrictive.So the transit box is 2 1/2" but stright through and at £30 worth a try.After a measure up looked a easy fit cut the ends off my old box tacked it on then measured up again got it so it sat right then marked for the mounts also off the old box.It clears the body very well and as it is a round box tucks it up a bit more.Now my one is auto but at the same time as mine was done a friend took the plunge with his to his being manual we both found that with the box fitted they pull harder and rev alot more freely.If this has been done before sorry i did try searching about it.It's a good saving on a proper one and seams to work well.The Bosal number is 154-133
