Stainless steel Oil drainer

Has anyone got any views on these 1 ltr stainless steel oil drainers.
You take out the dip stick and suck most the oil out using this pump and a tube.
Its suppose to make it easier and you dont get so messy ,but im a bit of a sceptic.

You have quite a drop left in the sump because of the shape and there's still the filter to spill everywhere. Remain a sceptic and stick to the tried and tested method of dumping it on the driveway .

dont trust them as any bits wont come out

After seeing what came out of the 4Runner in the oil last weekend I think I'd rather stick to the old fashioned, if messy, method.
