  • peed right off today

While at the unit today working on Lucifer the wind got up and lifted the 7x8 door off its hinges and fell against Lucifer creasing the front passenger door.I have got most of the crease out but it started to crack the paintwork so i had to leave it.I am so p155ed off over it. At least i got the front pads and outer track rod ends changed.5 mins later and Lucifer would of been moved and the unit door wouldn't of touched it

I was lucky with the force the door come off the hinges that it never broke the glass or even worse broke the fibreglass custom made wing and arch extension.
If it ws my 3rd gen there then i would of had a hell of a dent on the roof i reacon

It could've been worse - at least you didn't get sandwiched between the door and Lucifer

Bugga! I know how you feel rich, happened to me a few years ago with the Audi, garage door swung open & took a chunk out of the bumper.
If its not broke don't fix it.

If i was between the door and the truck i could of stopped the door hitting the truck.

This door actually lifted off of the hinges and fell against the truck. It wouldn't of been so bad if it just blew shut as the amount of damage wouldn't of happened

Don't worry Rich, these things can be repaired. The bloke who does my body stuff fixed my BMW when some kids booted the door in and jumped over the bonnet / roof for a few hundred quid. Thing looked brand new after.
May be he felt sorry for me but he wasn't expensive at all.

Looks like i will have to get some paint mixed to the right colour as there is a couple of bits on the rear doors that need touching in and a couple of small dents on the tailgate that need pulling out and then sprayed over.I will be trying to get Lucifer tidied right up and looking great inside and outside so its ready for early next year to hire.
I'll find out what the paint code is and get the paint sorted and once i move into the big unit then i'll start work on it
