whats the most constant speed you have had out of a surf for the longest time say years upto 98 and 2.4 diesel

Mine does the ton (91 2.4) but i normally stick to the speed limits (ish)

Found A Chevy Small Block In Street Machine Magazine For 1400 Quid Upto 600 Bhp And Stripped For Inspection Nice Motor But I Suppose It Would Guzzle The Petrol Lol La Supatruxx Do This Conversion But Charge You 3500 Quid For A 400 Bhp Crate Motor Lol Mmmmmwhat Shall I Do New Head On The 2.4 Or Go For The Gas GuzzlerITS GOOD BUT ITS NOT RIGHT ?

I had my blowout ( the tyres ) at 90. I took the 2.2L straight six out of my customised Bedford CF and put in a small block Chevy. The fuel consumption went down as I was driving most places at just over tickover ( most of the time
).
Edit: I just remembered that I could get through a pair of rear tyres each week if I worked at it. ( Oh happy days ).Last edited by kitesurf_phil; 1 July 2004, 23:42.It's only a hobby!
