well, I spent so long asking for advice and being put off various dealers that all the intercooled gen 3's I fancied were sold...so I've bought a Land cruiser colorado instead...I'd have preferred a surf but maybe next time.

Good for you! I cant help thinking that it might be a smarter choice with its lockers if you are going to use it off road a lot...
