Cruise control

Hi,

Any of you guy's had any faults with it?

Mine seems to work when it likes.Only when i turn it on or try as the
case may be.

Would it be a loose connection , faulty relay or something ?

It can be a little tricky to convince to turn on. From what I remember, you need to take your foot of the accelerator when you set it. I have the instructions on an old post somewhere, hold on...

If it's not that, there do seem to be others with the problem, but no answers. I seem to remember it won't set below 70 too.....

Where in Sussex are you able to use cruise control then?

I thought that side of the country was always gridlocked!

I can vouch for that ( mind you, I did take the motor dowry and replace the bit where the whotchamacallut doobery whatnot goes).

Hi Guys,
Yes i have the New Zealand user manual, and have used the Cruise Control quite a bit on long runs. Mine works (sometimes ) at all speeds over 50 ish. I think the limiter was removed before i bought it.
I really like the idea of having one, wish i could sort it out. Mind you it could come back on line anytime its weird, like a loose connection or sumit. I'd like to take the motor to an Electrical specialists but couldn't afford a large bill.
I did read in the search facility that it might be linked to the brake fluid ?
