Oil change. Magnetic sump plug.

Coming up for a oil change on a gen3. Anybody know if the sump plug is magnetic if it isn't where can I get one? Just seems a good idea to take out those tiny bits of metal out of circulation.

Standard one isn't magnetic as far as I know.

Thats for an LN130 - best to check on the Roughtrax website that it is the same item for whichever Surf/4runner you own...

ya get a magnet with a higher force for less money and stick it to the plug
it would work it
or buy an earth magnet like mine 85kg of pull
leave any nut or bolt stuck to that over night and its a 2 kg magnet its self

Yes, Ive stuck a very strong neo whatever magnet to the plug for the moment. Roughtrax worth a look. Thinking of hard drive magnets for the filter can.

When I did my first oil change on the 3.0, I ordered a whole load of stuff from Roughtrax, one of them was the magnetic sump plug.
The only thing that magnet has ever done is picked up dirt from the floor!
