  • Been to see the council today

    about getting aprivate hire licence etc for Lucifer so i can hire it out for functions etc.It will cost me about £350 for the 3 types of licence require plus a medical and also i will have to get Lucifer checked over a the Council approved garage to make sure he is safe for carrying paying passengers

    You should be ok with that, as long as the council's getting a slice of cash they will prob jump at it, anyway good idea, stretch limos! so why not monster trucks, you'll need to provide a step ladder to get em in
    just imagine all those women in short skirts climbing in there while you hold the ladder, my god! the mind boggles

      well i'm hoping that the council will allow the truck as its something not seen down here and for kids that will never get to see a big truck let alone be able to ride in one it would be great for them.Weddings are exempt so i can do as many as them as i want wth no bother.I will need to sort my insurance out aswell and also look into public liability insurance

        We got 2.5mill public liability cover for my band, was just under £100 per year.
        All our gear had to be PAT tested first though.
        Worth it after one gig in a large hotel wedding do.

              Public liability is cheap as chips i have 2 millions worth & i only pay £85 a year.
              TBH i think you'd only need 1 millons worth for what you want to do.
              If its not broke don't fix it.
