as a 2nd and 3rd gen owner, i much prefer the look of the 2nd gen over the 3rd, but teh power of teh 3rd (my 2nd is a 2.4 though)

test a 3rd gen, see if its any better, but i'd say your 2nd is a bl88dy fine truck, and you'd miss it!

Jimny is getting a locker, crawler box, steel raidus arms, more suspension lift, rear winch and larger tyres.

Plus I will be starting the workshop build as soon as planning comes back. I will have little time the next few months. I also have some bumper orders backed up and garry wants me to finish that truck he has chopped. Full cage and dove tail tray back. So again, my own projects will take a back seat for now mate.
Anyway, what could I replace the Jimny with

Well talk about coincidence, I went to the local BCA car auction today and someone asked me if I wanted to sell the truck. He said he had been looking for one for months and mine was the best he'd seen. Don't know what came over me but I said I wouldn't part with it ( I think it was because he was a dealer and I knew he'd offer me a pittance).

So unless I have a massive change of mind soon I guess the truck will be staying with me a while longer (barring a miracle price 3rd gen coming up for sale!)
