Just wondered if you fancied the job of Roger the cabin boy
Nah just wondered if you or if you knew anyone that serviced outboards, just planning for next year. The Suzuki 55 on the Wilson has just been done but will need doing every year, right?

yea will need doing every year and obviously winterising during the months its out of the water.always flush with fresh water after use and give it a good old squirt of wd under the engine cover after every use.make sure the sacraficial annodes are in place and replace them when they corrode, apart from that treat as a car engine and replace the rubber impeller in the leg.(####### job).yearly.

basically the little zink blocks that are bolted to the leg.around the prop head.these prevent electrolosis of the engine and corrode first.hence the name sacraficial annodes.
