Hi, ive just bought a 1991 toyota hilux surf and wondered if anyone knew where i can get a stereo blanking plate from? I have a stereo fitted but the last owners wedged a cup holder underneath to fill the gap, which i feel is a bit of an eyesore especially when there is already one 6 inches above. I was told that there are blanking plates around to tidy it up but up till now i havent been able to find any. Any help would be much appreciated

There is a plain storage box that Halfrauds sell by Autosports or something. It is not absolutely perfect, but will fill the space and be better than it is now. About £14 from memory. I am sure there are better options, but it is an easy fix.

thanks for all your help, sorry for the delay in answering but i work away(fisherman) so am not home that often.I found this but am not too sure if it will fit..its more like what i am after

Virtually what I fitted when I replaced the original double din unit - I fitted a standard Sony head unit and the bottom half of that bought in Halfrauds for pennies
