  • Thule roof bar adaptors

Does anyone know the part number for the adaptors to fit Thule roofbars to a Gen 3 with standard runners attached?
I have the roofbars and legs - for my previous cars (Fiat Seicento and Alfa156) I just bought some rubber feet and clampy things which hooked over the car's inbuilt rack fittings.
    Thanks,

    Yes !

I used the 4700 Tracker foot with the 4715 fitting kit

The only catch is that you need to use some channel nuts (Usually referred to as zebedees) to make it properly secure. If you do a search on Zebedee you'll probably find several threads with all the details

Bob - Thanks for the info. I have found the Thule bits on ebay at a decent discount. Can you explain why you also need the channel nuts?
        Cheers,

They're a much better fit in the channel than the Thule supplied item - they don't cost much and they secure the bars much better than the Thule ones

Thanks for the detail. I will get hold of some. I haven't seen the Thule kit yet but I assume I will need 4 suitable channel nuts?

The zebedees are actually "channel nuts" used in "Unistrut" channelling.
                Available from most electrical wholesalers.

Just checked and there's definitely 8 - 2 for each foot
