Nah, from what I've seen, the straight six is miles longer than the 2.4 and 3.0 usually found in the Surf. Not gonna fit without lots of mullering.

The straight 6 is huge. The turbo is huge as well.I would expect the gearbox is also huge but cant remember looking.

At least with a V8, the 4 pistons are spead apart so no need for the length of 8 pistons. Little bit like a wide 4 cylinder, or two, four cylinders

Why would anyone want to fit one of those? Theyre pretty slow.

Would prefer that engine in an older Supra (did they used to be called Celica Supra's?) (or even that Celica mk1)

Yeah, there's a few in south Wales, mostly rotten though.

NEVER let it be said l missed a chance to get a PLUG in for the LC80 l have had mine nearly 14years now, its never missed a beat pulls like a train and a pleasure to drive. Length wise the engine will just come under the slam panel in a Surf so you would have to resite the rad.
