  • forget resprays.. anyone had their Surf 'wrapped'?

I am considering getting the surf a nice body wrap to advertise the business - like you see on Sky vans, but not quite so advances, just a big logo and web address with some cool chain mail graphics along the lower portion, kinda to look like teh header of the web site.

Anyone had it done? or got a quote for it to be done before?

www.legendgames.co.uk is the site by the way

Dunno about "wraps" but i saw this guy spraying fabric on a naked girl on telly this morning, (he'd already covered her thruppeny's tho, rotten sod) apparantly it a polyester mixed with a thinning agent and is spray gun'd on, once dry ya can pull it off and wash it, bit of a faff about in the morning getting dressed or should i say sprayed, i'll stick to me underdungers and pants i think,

Think the done a old style mini on " Wheeler dealers " and sure they
done a vw van in that wrap stuff , said it was about the same
price as a respray so I don't really see the point unless it is done

done properly a full vehicle wrap looks excelent and can be better value for money than other advertising.

For a full wrap ide say at least £2k
If it can be broken it can be fixed

You can usually get it done free, as free advertising / advertising pays for the wrapping. I applied to lots of places to get my old Surf wrapped, and nothing ever came of it.

I was looking at getting a surf wrapped a while ago.

It had bad laquer peel on the bonnet and roof...so I thouht about getting a matt black wrap over both.

Found a company here in North London that would have charged £270 (inc parts and labour) for a basic colour and some thing like £340 for cabon fibre effect ect.

                  Matt
