cheap ca rinsurance... simples???

im 22 and have a 3.0 surf. prev car on my insuranc epolicy was a 1.5 honda civic lsi coupe. i was with some mad compan called "the green insurance company"... part of your premium goes to saving the earth, and they love small engines an what not, rang them up said i had an imported 3.0TD surf. sadly we fell out, to my advantage i had already paid up until end of sept. so now im lookin for cheap car insurance.... been on meerkats an wat not, get pretty average prices, can any one recomend me anywhere, or fill me in on club member discounts and how i become club member?

I'm 33 and have no no claims due to driving company cars, best quote is about £1800 fully comp, been quotes just shy of 2.5k with some nutty insurance companies. I hate the ###### blood sucking leeches.

I have already got quotes from all the companies that were mentioned on a thread on this forum plus all the comparison websites etc, etc, Adrian flux are a bunch of idiots, have had dealings with them before.

I was sharing my experiences with another new surf owner regarding insurance.

For a forum who are supposed to be enthusiasts there seems to be a lot of hostility here specially with regards to new members asking questions.

You say having no NCD is an issue, I've pointed you to a solution. Yes the method of my "pointing" is a bit rude but it leads to the same result as me linking any of the posts/sites on that google page.

Don't take offence by anything said on this forum, its got a sense of humour all of its own, and even I am still trying to find it.....
