  • Hilux Gen 3 :D

Hey guys, im new to this forum but have been on it quiet a lot, just never made an account , So i bought a gen 2 ssrx 2 years ago with every optional extra going, and i only paid £1500, so anyway about 2/3 weeks ago i unfortunatly wrote her off , My insurance company paid me out with £2100, which i thought was low, considering it had every option and had only just gone over 100,000 miles. so i was looking for a couple of weeks for a surf, with no look, i hadn't really traveled far tho, looked at a few gen 2's near, one discribed in very good condition, which was actually alot poorer than my old gen 2. so i was going to put mine on the road as a cat C, but then an advert came up on autotrader recently, i phone the dealer the next day and he said that there was a lot of intreast in it, so i put down a deposite on it. Bearing in mind it was 150 miles away from my house, but it all sounded good on the phone . Took me 4 hours to get there, 2 pedestrians had been ran over on the way there and our lanes were backed up with rubber neckers being nosie. When i got there it was parked up outside the dealers forcourt. it was about 5:45 and they were closing at 6. so i went for a test drive and i was amazed, its the 2.7 petrol model, and is so smooth to drive compared to my 3.0 gen 2 diesel, and amazingly quiet. I ended up paying £2350 for it, and its in near immaculate condition inside and out, and under the bonnet considering its a 95/96 N reg. i havnt got any photo's yet because we didnt get back till midnight :O. but heres the autotrader advert . Thanks for reading, Macca. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201035367269879/sort/priceasc/usedcars/model/hilux/make/toyota/radius/1500/quicksearch/true/postcode/fy44he/page/2?logcode=p
