Dont know if youre aware of it, this being your first Surf, but theres a good 4x4 specialist close to you called North West 4x4. they are in Banks. Speak to Paul. hes really helpful, and knows his stuff. Enjoy the forum....Cheers....Mick.

hit ann off road route last night with few mates, v8 rangey, 200tdi disco and 2 vitaras, crossed some ruts and the vitara shot over........ ey up i got stuck. vitara had road tyres, got embarassed. already spoke to paul for my spring lift in next week or so , then body and tyres to get me going to prevent it happening again



also iv talked my best mate into a hilux and we picked a 2.4 SSR in grey for £600. cheap due to it needing a turbo, waited for turbo and we have a knockin noise from it we belive could be dodgey injector or... dreaded bottom end.

i assure you this wasnt the spot i got stuck in the ruts were near touching my side steps to be fair.

generally not three bad with a camera, with running ukhotcars.co.uk spent a few years with photographing our monthly meets and members cars and organising photo shoots.... but this year i did recruit a professional as there maybe some room for improvement. got a 12megapixel camera on my phone (sony erricsson satio) in twilight landscape or night modes standing still in a couple of inches in mud isnt as easy as you think to get that perfect picture

low down 45 degree angle shots make surfs look rather smart me thinks. i wil refrain in future though

Im right by crosby baths on mariners road. Where about are you in sandgrounderland ? I have a burgandy 2nd gen on a K plate with the obligatory laquer peeling on the bonnet.
