Interior storage box?

I've seen these things a few times while I've been browsing through fleabay. I haven't a clue where on earth they would be on my truck though...

hello mate i have one of these i got it for my own truck thinking it went under the seat and it doesn't it is one of the back cubby boxes from the side of the boot or at least thats what it looks like, i have had a look under my left rear seat base and the aperture isn't big enough on mine so i presume yours should be the same

so has mine but i put some 6x9 speakers on the cubby doors so they aren't any use for storage now but hey-ho i've got sound

Obvious when it's pointed out I spose! I thought there were some secret magic storage boxes hidden somewhere that I hadn't looked!

i had mine years before i found out
and them stash boxes in the boot
i removed mine trying to fix mi speakers and found some jap show chains

old thread i know, but how did you remove them stash boxes in the boot, do they just unclip or sommat or is there lots of fiddly removal of linings
