  • Glasgow to Edinburgh

via the Caledonian Canal, on 'Coast'.

Stunning bit of the country. Seems there's a cycle route from Fort William to Inverness. There's another 'must do' for me then!

Train to Inverness, ride to Fort William across a couple of days with a bit of camping, train home from Fort William. Mmmm...

You must go to Ardnamuchan point and Sanna beach if you are as west as fort william. Give me a shout and I will meet you.

I would like to follow the same route east to west on a river boat as you can go sea to sea.

Your Glasgow to Edinburgh trip takes you within a mile of my house on the forth and clyde canal bank
