  • Windscreen wiper blades. KZN 185

I have just bought some wiper blades from Lidl for my KZN185 for just £4.95, just to say they seem excellent for the money, easy to fit, cheaper than Rough Trax or Milner (both are excellent for spares by the way), you need to buy size 450, it states on the box they are for a Land Cruiser.

I wont buy cheap wiper blades because usually they squeek after a short while, or the contact with the screen isn't uniform (i.e. utter pants).

I would be interested to see how they are in a month or two's time!

I suppose if they are poor in a few months it still would be cheaper to buy another set than to buy expensive blades

Sorry to offend anyone, I don't buy cheap blades as they are normally rubbish!
Just thought I would pass on a decent product at a reasonable price.
Used since end of July through a month of showers and are fine, squeak free and effective.
I have no shares in Lidl by the way.
I'll keep it to myself next time!

PAAAHH, cheap tat! I will only use Tescos' Finest, at 2 for £7 or something in that region. A good wash of the windscreen, plus a few swipes with boiling water poured on and they're the business, for, oohh, a month or two....

I use silicone blades, they don't judder or squeak and don't freeze to the screen in winter.
