I have a 3.0 auto and it bolted straight on, not that it matters in this thread, my efforts skillfully ignored.

I thought it looked good and was gonna ask is this the one made from 5mm ali plate? If so, what is the best way to bend this stuff? Can you do it by gently heating it to aneal (spelling?) or just brute force ?

          Cheers, Nick

Hi Alan. Dont worry mate, I appreciate your input! Mine deffinitely wouldnt fit (see pic.). Is it because youre running a 2" body lift, that your rad went up 2" along with the body? Can you post any pics, please.....Cheers....Mick.

Yes. It just needs to be a bit thicker.

I got mine bent up at work in a folder, the angles might not seem much but it still cracked a little, I got it alloy welded to sort it out.

Thats probably why it bolted on then, I fitted it after lift was done but the sizes could be adjusted to suit or use longer bolts and sturdy spacers.

Spacer being made up by my mate, then away to be galvanised. ( To match bashplate, in 6 mm mild steel...weighs a bl00dy ton! ). Ill post some pics when its done, if anyones interested. Ill have to sort the snapped bashplate bolt, (Drilled through, but with broken stud extractor stuck in it! ) first, though.lol!....Cheers....Mick.
