thanks for that. i think the GB issue might have been low fluid levels but am going to use the below to see if oil seal has gone and keep an eye on levels

Did you drill and tap the extra hole at the bottom of the transfercase adapter?

P+P was £2 by the way.

I picked one of those up a while ago, have found it to be a damn useful bit of kit.

Yeah, thats the one. Could it be leaking there? There's a lot of ATF sloshing about in that area.

I use four 6MM grub screws on that sensor pick up wheel and Loctite 270.

sorry vince for late reply thanks for the speedo will see if can hybrid it with the surf one will let you know how it goes! will PP the P+P this week

yeah there is a discolour around that area so i gather could be a slight leak but it isnt dripping of anything got the endoscope yesterday so will have a look and see what oil is there and if the seal has gone! will post some pics of it! oh and may post a video of my piles too!
