luggage space

hi very new to this so if been asked before im sorry .
really need bigger vehicle for camping to fit bell tent ,stove ,kids n stuff
can anyone tell me in terms i understand ie litres how much space in the back of a 1997 hilux surf ,as chance to see one tommorow but dont want to travel for sake of it got a bmw tourer at moment with about 440 litres space cheers. ps cant spell for toffee and dont know what those dots n dashes are for sorry . mongo

They need to be up to fit two brood plus wolf

some people have roof racks on there surf
if you need to carry more
i dont know if they are home made or you can buy them
do a search matey

Thule make roof racks for the surf, clips on at doors - I've just bought a pair and a roof box. My surf is the one at Avalanche with the roof box on (search: 'avalanche wow' for pics)
