And put a little instant gasket on it as well, be a pain if it leaked.
PS, do you know what model gearbox and t/case you have? just curious to see whats fitted in what surfs.

dont get me started on the info stuff or I'll be printing it out and atein it. you're talkin to a man that cant go thru an old graveyard without takin all the dates in, the 1780 kinda stuff :nutcase:
The R150F gearbox - I took it off yesterday, its still in one piece for tonite anyway. The 1986 pickup box which you probably remember is the one I split tonite. I'm where I was about 16 months ago when I found this forum having a dodgy surfbox and a good pickupbox. I'm gonna split the R150F in a day or two and see does the t/case mate with the '86 gearbox.
Both bellhousings seem the same. The R150F seems shorter by an inch though and might be an issue.
Heres some info from the '86 pickup box:
Bellhousing serial no. 70617002
Transfer serial no. 60202468
Number on end face of transfer case: 4
Height when standing on bellhousing to face of output shaft plate: 98cm
Gearbox when split stands 65.7cm tall
T/case stands 32.5cm from gearbox interface to output shaft plate
