  • What is limiting factor in tyre size?

Is it Width or Height. With my "little" lift, thinking 285/75/R16's which apparently are about 33"x11" Don't know if these would fit (at all)
Which bits do they rub when you go bigger? Is it mechanical, body work or arches?
    TIA

Front bumper ends and the wheel arch edge where the mudflap fits is the usual two places they rub but only when turning
Wheel off-set also has a say whether 33" tyres rub or not.

My mate has just put 295/75/16's on his Landy - they measure about 32" high and 10/11" wide
