  • Hilux number plate

Curious what interest generally Surf owners might have in a plate that reads H1 LWX...H1 LUX is offered at over 13 grand, so by that reasoning the aforementioned may be worth something?

Someone somewhere might find it worth paying for but "cherished" reg plates have never really interested me. I just don't "get it" I suppose...

I don't completely disagree, this particular plate is on a vehicle i have bought to sell on and i am only curious if it has any value

I think they're ok when they spell properly, it's when people have to stick bolts in random places and shorten bits of numbers to make them appear like letters etc that they become a bit sad.

My missus was following a convertible audi the other day driven by a fairly large bloke. Number plate was something like FAT 61T which I thought was pretty good. (the bloke had a sense of humour)

It's worth what someone is willing to pay.
If it was mine I'd want at least £500 for it.

I'd like BAD 80Y for my truck but 1) I don't have the money and 2) my trucks not big and bad enough to justify the plate

                            SMA 11Y?

My dad bought a new H reg Hilux back in the day, I pleaded with him to buy H1LUX at the time. He didn't. Think the return on his investment would have been worth it!
