  • Radiator required

    Greatings all, befor I have to shell out silly money for a new rad to replace my blocked up one, I thought I would put a shout out to see if anybody has a radiator that will fit my hilux/4runner. Picture below of correct unit. vehicle specks on left.

    have it reconned cost about 75 quid
    toyota rads 325 quid
    after market rads 120 to 180 quid

    if its only blocked have you tryed unblocking it?
    there are stuff on the shelf to soak it in
    am not die lex sick its you that cant read mate

      Have tried two types of rad flush additave, made no difference, 3/4 matrix stone cold. Would love to find an aftermarket rad for £120-180, but not found one for that low amount. Where have you seen one for that price? Would have it reconned, but no way of getting rad to rebuilder with out car (unless they collect), as I live in rural area hence 4x4 essential(no busses,pavements,street lighting). Phoned Roughtrax and am waiting for them to get back to me, as they dont list for the 2.7i.

        i used auto parts or part co i cant remember
        i did end up going to toyota tho just coz i think they are far better than any after market part

          Thanks for the link to 24-7 parts JUDWAK. Tried them but they only list diesel hilux, not petrol 4runner. Got a few irons in the fire now, so will let you know final result once all quotes are in.
