how far can you tow an automatic

i need to get my isuzu trooper to a garage to have a turbo fitted its about 1 1/2 mls away .would this damage my g/box.thanks .

disconnect the drive shafts coz the autobox wont turn then

Why can't you just put it in neutral?

should be able to put both levers in neutral and tow it at a sensible speed for that distance
