Came back off holiday the other week and noticed one of the surf back tyres was a bit down. Found a screw in the thick part of the tread and took it out. No air came out the hole. Then saw a bit of metal like a nail with the head missing flush with the tyre. Manage to get pliers on it and pulled. It was a 4 in long piece of metal wire. The tyre went straight down. Having never jacked the surf up I started to look for the jack and there wasn't one. So had to go buy one before I could get the wheel off. How the wire had got straight through the tyre I don't know but good job I was at home and not out driving at the time.
