  • My 5 year old can weld

While I was helping Brian finish off the cage for the Jimny today, my wee lad Callum decided to join us and see what we were up to.

Always safety in mind, we made sure he had his safety glasses on when the grinding was being done.

He was enjoying watching Brian weld.

So...Brian asked him if he wanted a go, and so he got to try his hand at welding, he was a natural (Cheers Brian )

Smart, my lad wants to get involved every time I pick up a spanner he's only 4 but having seen this, I feel want him to too. much better than sticking a kid infront of the TV; show/teach them something.

Right that's it my lad is comming with dad for the next bala/laning run she doesn't like it, but dammit it's something that he and I will be able to talk about later when we can't talk about anything else.

Has to be done, he's getting a good upbringing as is, can name any vegtable even after it's been in the ground for a few days, part two is know how to fix/mod a truck, the tellytubbies can fek off my lads getting a real education.

He's better at lots of things, but he still thinks I can heal my wounds because I have a bit of Wolverines blood in me......5 year olds are so easy.

Calos, my lad has been my co-driver loads of times, he loves it, just keep him safe when he's out of the truck, deep water, other trucks etc.

He loves camping at the Clog, big fire, can of juice, lots of mud....what more could a young lad want?

True what Brian said, hid lad learned to drive a manual in the field at Drumclog.

My lad sits on my knee to steer round the grass park, he loves it.
