  • Anyway????

As seen in my previous posts, my surf is stuck in 4wd, now im unsure if it is the vsv's or the little box of 4wd magic under the ashtray.
Anyways is there any way of taking it out of 4wd manually so that i can still use the surf?
    cheers, james

Tried the reverse and jamming in into drive thing but still stuck.
It could have been answered in my other thread but its not solving the problem i have with my surf just working round it, taking the front shaft off is only an option so i can use it for work while still trying to find whats wrong with it.
I will be taking the front shaft off tomorrow (i think) and will be on the lookout for more vsv's and 4wd control unit to see if this fixes the problem.
Thanks for the advice on the previous threads Bushwacker, think i will just sod these diesel surfs and get me one of them lexsurf conversions
And thanks Albannach for the advice on the front prop i'll remove shortley
        Cheers, James
