'MONSTER TRUCK' ....'STOPS MANY IN THEIR TRACKS'.....

    '4wd doesnt work.....push button...cheap to fix...'

not a fan of this truck and not a fan of the seller. if its a cheap fix, why didnt he get it fixed ages ago rather than leave it and try selling it on.

    hardly a head turner.

curious as to what the reserve is though.

To quite a few folks who aren't used to seeing stuff like this it probably is a monster truck! It's easy to forget that we see these things day in day out on this forum.

I'm totally with you on the "cheap easy fix" bit though. Even if it didn't bother me as an owner I'd get it sorted when selling cos you're just hitting the value of what you're selling otherwise. More to the point, that makes 2 owners (probably) that haven't bothered to do this "cheap easy fix" suggesting that the fix isn't actually that cheap or easy...!

I also hate sellers who "name & shame" buyers who have let them down in some way. Just makes the ad look negative, puts you off the seller and makes s0d all difference to the buyer that let you down!

Also - why the hell buy a Surf like that if you don't take it off road?! D'oh!

      indeed.

big 4x4 and he doesnt take it off road.

i am presuming he bought it like that, had it for a while, couldnt handle the fuel cost etc then decided to sell up.

might ask him a few questions to see what he says.

might be handy to know som info about the engine.

It's a 2.4 and those are not Mickey Thompson alloys!

I'd buy it for 300, clean it up, fit a V8 and sell it for 3000.

I thought I recognised it too. It was the Bull bars and those silly arch extensions I remembered though.

You too can fit 39's! Which coincidentally will also be your top speed!

I,ve got a yellow bash plate on mine, but Ive never taken a pic of it, never mind posted one. At the time I did it, I had been thinking of using red, but was unable to find any red smooth hammerite anywhere. I was told it was unavailable due to a guy called Ian from Portsmouth having bought that years entire production run.

not too keen on the yellow. but i do like his light on the roof bar.

as for the 'monster' surf, it will be interesting to see if it sells.

Ta, but I was thinking a little more recently than the old skool Apache truck.

                              It looks better on that.
