Can't really lower diff at all as the prop will touch the exhaust downpipe and front arb. Any ideas anyone?

Lowering the front diff is usually carried out when installing BJ spacers and including diff and ARB spacers. Are you doing ball joint spacers. If not then you need the ARB and diff spacers (do not leave bolts out BTW) and modify the exhaust I suppose.

Thanks nev. I've already fitted bj spacers but shaft angles are too steep. Never heard of arb spacers or would have bought these too. Looks like I'm giving up. I'm still confused though as I have two lowering blocks but the diff is mounted in 3 places.

The front of the diff stays where it is, the spacers go at the back. If you want to keep the ARB, you'll need spacers to drop that too. I can't comment on your exhaust issue, I didn't think it was a problem?

The exhaust may not be an issue. The spacers look to go either side of the diff around the drive shaft area. There is no mounts around the back of the diff. There are just those 3

You said you had a front mounting, I wrongly assumed you'd call the 2 towards the rear of the diff (behind the driveshafts) the rear ones. Irrespective of what you want to call them, that's where the spacers go, the diff will pivot down on the "front" mounting.

Did you get the proper sized spacers made up?

just do the back 2 , i did my front one to keep the diff away from the v8 sump but all you can do is elongate the holes in the bracket prob can get it down by 15 mm
