I was at my step-daughter's for last 3 weeks - visiting friends and modernising/creating/fitting/slaving over new bathroom (+ visit to Mum and getting food poisoning, but that a different tale...). I loaded up trailer with bathroom suite inclusive - whole trailer filled. I loaded up 'The Beast' with all my tools - fully loaded rear space.
I drove to Epsom - 200 miles away M6/M40/M25 ... cruised at a nice steady 60mph and achieved 25mpg! I then returned .... same 25mpg achieved
To do all I want in relative comfort and reasonable economy at a very cheap acquisition cost ......... I certainly not complaining
