Hope all is good down your neck of the woods!
Yea got it picked up by these guys last Monday http://www.west-coast-4x4.com/Home.html and first impressions are good, both of the garage and of the damage to the truck. Looking like about 4 or 5 hours work on it at the moment to fix the initial things but the guy thats doing the work is away for 10 days and will be giving it a proper going over from the ground up when he gets back.
He is also fitting a new turbo and going to have a look at the oil pump (think thats what he said if i remember right) , as there is a sheared screw on it, sorting out anything else that needs doing (service, cam belt, cv gaiters)..............touch wood hopefully picking it up at the start of august at some point.

Havent forgotten the tyres etc Rich and i know you want them away! i will speak to paul when he gets back (next week i think) and sort out when is best for getting them delivered up to him and let you know (at worst the end of July), as he is just going to leave them on a pallet till i pick up the truck.

Thats ok just give a shout as and when your ready.The exhaust is ready aswell when you are but that will have to be sent seperate to the tyres due to the length of it

Hi Rich,
Hope you are all doing ok, was down in Naples yesterday so sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Hopefully the truck is ok wont find out really till Monday when the guy that is working on it is back from holidays but sounds like its a goer, just got to get the stickers off and get the wheels cleaned up a bit on the cosmetic side. on the upside dreaming a bit but should look something like this (pre stickers!)

Will be glad to get it and get the other one in the shed to be sorted (pain in the butt just having one as it gets used at least twice a day so cant really have a good go at it). Having a bit of a drama with the aircon squealing (belt tight) so will have a look later tonight as its blazing hot over here (only 30 odd degrees but 70% humidity down south....v.hot and sticky)

Will let you know next week as to when and where to send the stuff and transfer funds, when the guy gets back to me.

Sorry still cant pm on here for some reason!

right on Rob.I can't even remember the prices we said about ages ago for the stuff either so i'll have to have another think and let you know.

The exhaust i think was about £150 and i think we said about the same for the tyres.Let me know if this sounds right

That sounds about right Rich so go for that, any idea how much it would be to send the stuff up there (the address of the place is 71 Gorsey Ln, Banks, Lancashire, UK)

I would say about £70 max Rob.I sent one tyre not so long ago and it was £12 so going bu that 2 tyres taped together will be £24 x 2 = £48 plus about £20 for the exhaust

Sounds good to me , shall start getting some cash transfered next week and will let you know monday what the outcome of speaking to the garage was......hopefully all good
