How the fooook do you save a thread that someone has done so you can bring it up at a later date without having to trawl through thousands of threads because you can't remember who wrote it or the title.

Google bookmarks tool?
Or just use your browser to bookmark it if you don't need to access it from different computers.

Subsctibe to it, using the 'Thread Tools' menu.

apart from favorites, copy the address into notepad and save it on your desktop. or email the link to yourself

Opted for favorites.

Thought you could just add it to a folder in your user profile or something easy like that.

I should mention that me & computers don't get on very well, im supprised ive not smashed this one to bit by now.

is that the thing that saves a thread or something in the user cp.Never used it though.

write it down on a bit of paper and stick it to your monitor if thats a bit too technical
