i need a new rear wiper blade for my surf as its going for its M.O.T saturday but realised that the blade screws on to the arm .can i get one of from halfords or do i have to get one from toyota .

hi Steve.There is one in Halfords for the hilux but with the 2 small screw attachment on it the same as the surf.I can't remember for certain but its a mk2 or 3 wiper.Have a look at them in there and you should find the one i'm on about unless you want me to post one up for you.I don't think the rear wiper comes into the mot though

sounds good to me mate ,only thing is how the fcuk do you get the arm off .cant seem to do it under the rear spoiler .

Hiya Steve,

Richard's right, I managed to change mine ok. I found it easier to go in from the front of the spoiler i.e the roof side.

........or maybe I just have small hands!

(oops sorry, looks like I took too long to type that! lol)

thanks mate ,if its a pain ill just take blade from arm and fit it to mine .took the blade off tonight and droped both screws on the road but with a lot of luck found them again
